greed and need
are on the war path ever;
in life’s battlefield
evil does always appear
to have superior swords
and more shining shield,
war secrets it knows many,
yet for some reason
it has hardly scored any win ever…
In the game of love and hate,
hate always gets closer and closer
the more exciting winning goal to score,
yet the striker, however, brilliant
misjudges, ball narrowly misses the target,
sails over the bar, leaving many in disappointment…
The tie of good and evil,
tilts ever in favour of ‘good’,
the golden goal coming in the extra time:
no fouls, no yellow and red cards –
the love game remains tumultuously sublime!
