Now are like the bare Sofa frames -
Minus the seats and backs,
Empty, Gaping,
Only the odd outer hulk,
No substance inside -
A dozen of the
Empty egg shells
Left on the kitchen platform
By a careless bachelor in half-pants,
Or,
A solitary single woman,
A Bridget Jones-type,
In metro- India,
Obsessed with body fat,
Lolling on a bean bag,
Talking on her Blackberry,
On a lazy, Rainy Sunday afternoon.
