Theme: Freedom

Free

Set me free
I’ll fly…
Back to you

Encage me
I’ll fly…
Away from
You.

Give me
Freedom,
I’ll remain
With you

Imprison me,
I’ll break all
Barriers...
To flee you

Thank you, Prafulla, for giving my poem so much of thought and elucidating your thought.

Actually, this poem talks of personal space in any relationship so that the partners can live and breathe easy...

If with you, I feel comfy, no matter, wherever I go, I'll come back to you.

But if you shackle me and take away my freedom, I'll make sure that I put my best foot forward and flee from you.

This poem intends to say that for you and me to thrive and grow, our relationship should let us feel free.

Comment Freedom is one thing that one may wish for or dream of..but hard reality is that freedom is in shackles in our social life--right line-'set me free 'to start with the poem.in following lines the thought grows bolder and finally into a challenge .but the phrases -back to you,fly away from you, remain with you,to flee you clearly highlight the dominance of the authoritarian 'you' more than the freedom lover ,(perhaps, the indian woman )freedom means mutual understanding and trust-both should realise, the woman should have a bolder and more independent approach.excuse me,mam if i'm wrong.
