[this poem highlights the fact that there are many broken homes in this world because of bad blood and sibling rivalry and yet people have high expectations from married and live-in partners to co-exist amicably and peacefully….despite they coming together from totally different upbringing and varied families; if it is so difficult for our parents or siblings to adjust with us, how hard it would be for those couples to make adjustments....those who adjust are commended, those who cannot (e.g. divorcees) are stigmatized]
