To keep 'communal forces at bay'
With shrewd eyes on political future.
They will oppose or boycott a protest call
Against the corruption and inflation
Despite a pro-people instance
But for the rival group's participation.
They will vehemently oppose FDI at centre
But rope in professionals or consultants
To advise and help them to attract
Foreign direct investment in state.
They will share a dais
On a day to make a common cause
But remain all time at loggerheads
In the name of socialism vs capitalism.
They will make hue and cry
Against a language or education system
But make sure in their private life
Wards get the best of same system.
They will quarrel and fight
Sometimes like the street dogs
But during the late evening parties
Laugh it off to have dinner together.
