she draped the veil of sadness,
around her balding white head.
loneliness her enemy,
had been stalking her lately,
she just could not shrug him off.

one day she had decided,
to use her time gainfully.
she sat at her writing desk,
with a blank sheet of paper,
to write her own life story.

once a upon a time there lived,
a young couple and a child.
the child grew up to become,
a smart and attractive girl
who pursued higher studies.

the text sounded too mundane,
she needed to spice it up
she soon realised, or none
would even care to read it.
she quickly destroyed the draft.

then donning her veil of sadness,
she stepped into the garden.
indoors she found depressing
and outdoors opressing so
she walked to eternity......
