When I am slapped unjustified,
and do not retaliate,
I stand a moral ground.
The perpetrator totters.
Justifiability and the extent
come under the arch light.
If I return a slap,
it is a slugging match.
The result may go either way.
Much fairness is lost
in witnesses's eyes.
