Her Poetic Self

Across the Atlantic
grounded firmly
is one end
of an invisible bridge
traversing which
the global Bolojians
experience
release and relief

         Through
         collection of thoughts
         words woven
         in cantos, sonnets
         rhymes, haikus

Where she*
as her poetic self

       - flirting, teasing, testing
         seducing, enthusing, stimulating -

the reflective connoisseur
of loving words
with unflinching patience
skillfully
reads, reviews, improves

Like
         a gardener pulling weeds
         a mother nursing life
         a guru instilling awareness

It's through
her devotion to poesy
that our scattered thoughts
become a bouquet of verses
what we see on Boloji
as poetry.

Madathil ji.... Boloji is everywhere, but I am in New York. Hence for me it is "across the Atlantic". I have referenced the "Atlantic" in poem entitled "Journey" as well.

First of all, A VERY HAPPY BIRTH DAY TO APARNAJI.

A very good tribute indeed. But, why only across the Atlantic? It should be across all the oceans as Boloji's seem to communicate from everywhere.
