Now I know there are men born fated by
name, one which proves to fit their life and calling;
and often, better still, the contrary
to that implied, when titled 'Joe Appalling'.
And some, like Shakespeare, are mysteriously
evocative, precisely for a reason;
for, let's face it, beyond the curiously
appointed, names make no undue impression;
until, that is, one makes the grade, achieves
public distinction; then seems set from start:
it transforms, quantum leaps onto the surface
of what life's all about, and there stays fixed,
angelic, influencing, the beating heart
of a great theory currently that lives. |
