Not all poems get written.
Most get lost
like millions of sperms of men
and few hundred eggs of women!
Why and how some poems get written
is a mystery
like the stars in heaven.
Thoughts flitter every now and then
in our mind.
Like a few sperms fertilize
only a few eggs,
so also a poem is born.
Exactly why and how poetry is written
is analogous to the question
when a sapling sprouts from a seed,
how life germinates in all forms of life.
