My last wish
The “epitaph”
Where moments stand tranquil
Inscribed on them
By blood and sweat
A “Will”
Before I depart
My final will
At the jiffy
I breathe last
The world coalesced in a family
A Muslim - my big brother
A Christian - my younger sibling
Me - standing between them
A human in flesh and blood
The world - my family
United at last
Outside my home,
Life bears the bounties of a garden
Lovely flowers
Abundant relationships
Old and new
Buds of love
And flowers of compassion
Our homelife - a far cry from
The hustle-bustle of rat-race
The heaven on earth
Each moment
Love casts a spell
Frees us from the burdens of mundane life
Unites us with freedom
God, can’t you feel?
Your world is now
A simmering witch’s cauldron
A beehive of terrorism
Love is gone
In the families
Where the loved ones live
The life on a seething frying-pan
Burning in the conflicts
Dying in the gorging mouth of social mores
Dead as though with their wants
Confined to their graves
Consumed by innumerable demands
God, let me swear before you
That, this is my last wish
In my epitaph
Your humankind
Become a wonderful nest
A family united in
Love, empathy and wonderful calm
