Theme: Moods

The Maple Tree

The maple tree
in our backyard
       my associate for several years
       witness to my feelings
today suddenly appeared
stern and somberly stiff

Does the autumn
        triggering the leaves
        to change
        their hue and color
        and fall one by one
        to eventually
        desert the tree
        lone and forlorn
resemble
the echo of hullabaloo
sparked by the storm
of erratic thoughts
vacillating
in my mind?

Comment Maple tree finally becomes wood, gets buried down in to
ground to be coal...it is coal that what Narendra Modi has
to think about which buried down in Mehsana district of
Gujarat. To reap the harvest he should have geologists, mining
engineers and to have them he should and must have
NATIONAL SCHOOL OF MINERAL RESOURCES in Gujarat
start thinking, planning and executing. Mineral Resources are
more or less neglected in Gujarat, Why Mineral Resources
in the Center did not do any thing when vast deposits of coal
are known to be there deep in earth of western India?

On fast track, he should think of bringing Arabean sea to
Ahmedabad, the center of Gujarat to serve India.

Comment Soothing in its innate beauty---like the Maple tree! Nice externalization of thoughts through the cascading imagery.

Comment The autumnal feelings of your mind suddenly bloomed in the flowers drooping and falling on the grass....nature echoes the human mind never better....as in this poem

Comment A perfect picture of autumn and the feelings associated, and the assoicated lines, 'feelings.triggering the leaves' and 'sparked by the storm' highlight the same in your fluid compositon. Kudos, Sir.
