Theme: Resurgence

Renaissance

Is this helplessness,
dilemma
or a mental impasse
that the lifeless yesterday
        unable to even repeat itself
        still creeps around
as Vetala – the vampire; and
confronts
like a question mark -
disrupting the progress of today,
jeopardizing the aspirations of tomorrow?

When will
this chicanery end?

Awaken from slumber
        O Vikramaditya!
Pick up the sword of discrimination
sever and annihilate
the ghastly parasites of the past.

Liberation from yesterday
should become the path
to the doorstep of Salvation

This journey must start now.

Comment Very apt comment on contemporary society! Nice use of Vetala and Vikramaditya imagery from Indian culture. The entire thing gets revitalized here. The need for fresh action and thinking is a clarion call.
A powerful voice---Rajenderji. Please keep it up.

Comment "All big journeys start from a small step"- Chineese Proverb.
Rajender's solution to life's journey is " to awake from slumber, cut the past to move fast towards goal"

Comment Sun rises, night comes, sun rises again and again--Truth
Way of Life, it begins and ends into Life

Never despair, hope for the best
Best we want and best we get

Life began in BC and continues into AD- it marches on

Rest! Rest and work, otherwise rest will end into rest to require
rest again

Life journey goes on never to end
It starts and starts again and again

That is the way of Life

Comment Perfectly in tune with the spirit of Dasara / Durga Pooja festival and Vijay Dashami in about a couple of days.Pragmatism demands action, not mere contemplation.Regards.
