As a teenager
He was enamoured
With her at first sight
Not knowing
What to call his feelings
Friendship, affection or love
For her...

Whatever it was
Remained intact
After years of longing
And ever-growing,
He is still uncertain
What to call it,
If he is -
        Fascinated by
        Charmed by
        Infatuated with
        Enraptured by
        Smitten with
        Captivated by
        Enchanted by
        Besotted with
        Bewitched by
        Enthralled by
        Crazy about
Or simply in
An ethereal and sublime
Love with her
For eternity...
