There used to be a cute cow
In the barn near our bungalow.
She had two horns curved
And a beautiful calf so deserved.
She gave so much milk
And her skin shone like silk.
The cow got one cowherd,
Who cared for her every need.
When all of us prayed,
She never strayed.
Save for the cow
I knew no other story anyhow
For my answers in the class.
Be it for lion, elephant or grass
The same story I made it fit;
Only to have my teacher in splits.
