A Silent Volcano

When you were hurting me I didn't show my agony So does that mean I didn't feel pain? When you were leaving forever I hadn't shown my tears So does that mean I had not cried? When you were unresponsive I didn't show my panic So does that mean I was not hurt? And when I retained my silence With apparent calm and serene So does that mean I didn't love and care? While falling apart within With the passage of time All this created a silent volcano Tonnes of lava and magma inside My only wish and endeavour It shouldn't reach you ever.
