Immutable

An immutable love and admiration
He has for her persona and memories
Ever since her departure and loss
He always keeps her photo
Close to his heart.

And he has an immutable logic
While a person is mutable
His mood keeps on swinging
And emotions often camouflaged,
A photo remains immutable
Neither it cribs nor complains
Neither it hurts nor it pains...

Beyond vagaries of time and space
Of the seasons and climate
Of the past, present or future
Like a selfless true love
It always remains the same.
