You are not just a two syllable word,
But a personification of selfless-love/God,
From the day you conceived me,
You bore every pain with utmost glee.
Every sickness en route, you endured expectantly,
Every pain throughout, was a pleasure positively,
You gave your everything, happily for my sake,
For me to be a being, though your life was at stake.
When I grew up old and started drifting away,
You as a saint, checked your emotions from going astray,
Never for a second, you gave me any warning,
Each and every moment, I was always your darling.
You are always a cover to shelter me from all,
With a prayer on your lips, you stalked me from every fall,
My every need was met promptly indeed,
And every deed was praised with blessings in speed.
Nothing I can do, can match your love in any measure,
Throughout my life, I can only cherish it as a treasure.
