I am immortal
I was here in the past.
It’s the time, that I walk through.
I am here now
I will be here in the future too.
In the continuous flow of life
I am never gone.
My death and birth
Are just parts of a cycle
To evolve from the dust
And return back to earth.
I return in new forms
Whether from an early end,
Or leaving a decaying body
Unable to lend
The support to the flow of energy.
I was Rama.
I was Ravana too.
I was veracious Yudhisthir.
I was even covetous Duryodhana.
They are my faces,
Whether in one or in many,
Recur with the change of time.
I do not die.
My changing body keeps pace
With the time I walk through.
I was here in the past.
I am still here.
You would find me in the future too.
