What is the smile of child,
Like a boon of God, in our life.
Which returns the warmth of love,
Between angry parted husband and wife.
They think, why we growl at each other
And what we want to do or share?
The call of tiny one is resonance of love
It stops their disgust, foul or unfair.
The child is a symbol of undivided love
Who is not familiar with disgrace or divorce.
The thing which makes both reunite again
Only by this great appeal of divine force.
What is this smile of child
Like a stream of pure love from God.
It pours spontaneously from innocent heart
That doesn’t know any evil or fraud.
Really, they understand the value of it
Those, who have in their life, no child,
The orphanage helps them to adopt one
Whom a cruel mother has left bare and wild.
Grandparents amaze at unusual words
Which little one utters them frequently.
They try to catch and kiss him
And lift up in their arms quickly.
What is the smile of a child,
That enriches life abounding, as some toss or tide.
It is a blessing to man from heaven
Which flourishes our world by tiny action but wide.
