The Temple and the Men

charbhuja.jpg

I regulary go to the temple of Charbhuja Nath
to say my prayer to the  almighty God & sages,
It has become a prominent part of my life,
That charges my whole entity to face challenges.

I hear a sound, reciting the name of deity,
Echoing all over the temple in a specific mode.
The smell of Aarti makes me fine and pure,
like fire removes impurity of metal gold.

How I can say, it is absolutely burnt, all those
sins, evils and various impurities of my soul.
And purifies my heart again and again,
So I feel just like a shiny and empty bowl.

Hear! Sometimes the statue, which is in,
‘Garbh-Grah' smiles and blesses me.
I have felt several times so, now and then
I salute hands and fleet down on the knee.

I take ‘Tulsi Charnamrit’ from the priest,
and I do ‘Parikrama’ of the temple idol.
On every 'Ekadashi' people gather for 'jagran'
to get peace, prosperity and request for help.

Many persons sit to enjoy in or outside temple,
They usually gossip & discuss about new activity.
An ‘Akhand Hari Kirtan’ on Meera Jayanti,
is held once a year by the people of Merta City.

Some of the Pilgrims who throw "Prasad"
often make floor of the temple & statues dirty.
These innocent devotees, rarely lose shoes  and
sometimes become a victim of pickpocketing.

Oh! These days almost all the Gods and
Goddesses are awfully afraid of men.
So, they have decided to trap themselves,
behind the bars and live solitary in chain.
