Even as I see it.
Among violet clouds,
Lonely, pale, bereft.

As the night draws its curtain
And must cuddle up pulling your blanket just a little bit closer.
Somewhere you must hold a dream
That someday you shall meet me.
Inch by inch
Like two icebergs
Steadily but hopefully surely drifting together.
Somewhere my loneliness must conjure up your image
And you carve out of stone for me.
A piece so matching that it covers up all the empty spaces within.
Somewhere beyond our sea of longing
We will one day touch.
And the oceans will blow over us.
