Summer rain showers come to me
And wash away this misery,
That holds me in captivity;
Which stains my mind with darkened dreams
And slays my fondest memories.
Winter snow, please let me go;
Release your grip from my suffering soul.
Allow your sister, spring to heal;
This spirit of mine which cannot feel.
Summer sunshine, smile at me.
Give me warmth and set me free,
From this frozen world of insanity.
Where I stand, shivering silently;
Awaiting my doom, like a condemned tree.
