Theme: Agony

The Journey of My Life

The rain of my eyes is so surging
That even the pillows get drenched,
The pain and the tears are so merging
As if my thirst for love is never quenched.

The journey of my life is so distressing,
That there is no chance of delight,
The chapters of my fate are so depressing,
As if happiness has taken its flight.

The boat of my hopes is so sinking,
That there is no escape from drowning,
The heartbeats and aches are so linking,
That every breath I take is downing!

Comment Rupradhaji, no wonder, many tend to relate a tragic narration as an author's own experience! The old story of 'A Painter and Bakery-woman' could be a good example. Although this may or may not be always true.. moreover everyone has to fight his/her battle of life in own ways!

Comment You are a poetess of griefs , sorrows & pathetic love. Radha name is famous for relinquishment and separation. You have written too much about this. Now I wish to see you writing on hope and cheerfulness. Please try to do so.It will be your great achievement in the field of poetry.A lot of thanks for a dip into agony & write on heart touching compassion.

Comment Rupa, the heart of the lover is so sacred that God will never let is sink, and you shall have the nectar from a fairy's hand to quench your thirst. Move on with hope, dear friend.
