People say, Mother is another form of God.
Is it true? My ninety years old mother,
who can't see nor listen properly.
She asks me frequently one thing.
"Have you taken your meal my son?"
She repeats it many times. Whether it is
morning, noon, evening or the time of midnight.
I get irritated and think, "Why my mother is
worrying about me in this old age?
A thought echoes in my mind again & again,
"It is only a mother's heart, nothing else
which cares for me in this grown up age."
I make a little prayer to God,
"Long live my mother! Further hundred years.
Long live her showers of love!
And blessings in a special way.
Those are lucky, who have a mother
to care for them, to talk to them, to listen in such a way.
Pouring from her heart, intense love and affection.
I extend my good wishes and salute the mothers
And all the offsprings on the Mother's Day.
