When one is young
one has so many licenses:
to be angry,
to look at beautiful women,
to fail,
and be irresponsible!
As one grows older,
all those freedoms are gone.
Experience has taught one,
anger is a loser.
One cannot be lecherous.
One cannot afford to fail
as one has mugged up enough of life.
And if one is not responsible,
one should rather not exist.
Life becomes onestraitjacket
once one is past young age.
It is a payback time.
One looks at one's own offsprings
Nephews and nieces and realizes,
one must be a fine father and uncle.
The pleasures of unbound licenses
have yoked one
to the cycle of responsible existence,
licenses withdrawn.
How clever of God!
