Theme: Relationship

Ingratitude

The tall and shaded tree
Kept on giving for life
Fruits, shelter and shade
To the family of this man.

The greedy and ungrateful
Man uprooted it one day
To procure its trunk and branches
For his petty commercial gains.

Ingratitude in human beings
It's so common nowadays
Elderly parents and grandparents
Are often abandoned and ignored.

Comment Human has a lot of wisdom.Even though he behaves with ingratitude. Why
does he behave so crude with others ? I think,it is his nature of selfishness ,
which doesn't allow to pay attention on teachers, elders, parents, friends relatives or othet creatures in this world.Only good "sanskars" can show
true path of duties, as he forgets them when it is his turn. There is a great
debt of duties,on man "Devrina","Pitrarina", & "Rishirina".It is true that"Dev-
Rina" is paid by 'pooja - archna' yagha & other religious performing." Rishi-
Rina" is paid now by Govt. to the teachers in form of salaries. But "Pitrarina"
is paid only by duties to parents. Those who have not interest for duty to
their parents or they neglect with them, the debt is not fully paid. And it is
forced to pay it by rebirth in form of a son or daughter or in other form of
"Karmas". Indian mythology is full of these instances. You have depicted
ingratitude so well that I have remembered a film of Amitabh Bachchan
named," Bagawan" which is well picturised on ingratitude.Thank you very
much Jaipal Singh Ji for good thoughts on current problem of our society.
