Acute ache
In back of head
Severe pain
In cramped neck
Makes raids
On my nerves
With hammering throbs
Not in my heart
But in my head
I cannot open up
Even my eye-lobes.
Her balmy hands
Rub warmth of love
And usual intimacy
So much on me
On my forehead
And back and neck
Loitering in deep agony
Of cervical spondylosis.
The painful pangs
Ache in upper lids
Keep me shut in
From time to time
To be relieved well
By my honorary nurse.
After a few hours Or one or two days
My staying indoors
Quite bed-ridden
Renews our closeness
With love-filled intimacy
In my body, mind and brain
Due to oft-occurring Migraine!
