Begging puts me to shame.
But I beg of only God
for my vulnerability
of being my parents' son,
for being my brother's and sisters' brother
for being the husband of a lady,
for whom I took oath in the name of Gods
to love and protect her;
for being parent to my children.
Otherwise, God forbid,
I would not like to beg.
So, when I see someone begging,
it is I who feel ashamed,
because they have to beg!
How inept we are,
that some people must beg,
some people go hungry.
And we are so proud!
Power goes in our head.
And we call people names!
God, forbid me,
I do not have to do things,
which can only put me to shame
as a human being!
