Forbidden Fruit

First
Our eyes met
They conveyed a lot
On what we are and
What we want

Is it
Love at first sight?
Yes, in a way
For it longs for
The magnetic
Touch and confluence

Then
We moved closer
Exchanged ‘Hi’
Some pleasantries
And fictitious names

Next
We also know
What we need
So the question
Was for a ‘place’

When
One of us had
Both felt a thrill
Moved to
The place

It
Was the urgency
Of desires
Call it physical or
Name it hormonal

But
The passion was
Predominant
Emotions overflowed
So did our body fluids

Once
It was over
Sense and sensibility
Became awake
Parted with a hug

We
May meet again
May not perhaps
Even if so
Physics and chemistry
May work out or not

Have
Tasted the
Forbidden Fruit
Scared to dare
The conventional
Society since
Both of us
Belong to
The Same Sex
