Housewife

She is always working, she is busy,
our all delightful meals done by her,
household, marketing, managing the house well,
our life is fully dependent on her skills,
she is happy in our achievements,
she aids in our goals,
she is tired and exhausted...
But when all of us come back
Why? We say, you are lucky,
you are always at home,
you can rest and you can relax,
Now she replies,
trust me - being a housewife
is a thankless job...

If family is like a tree then housewife is its roots and children are its branches. Branches grow long and proud themselves in being stronger but little do the branches know that it's the roots that give them power to grow and flourish.....but alas no-one understands a housewife leave aside recognizing her devotion....
