As I sit here, watching the clock tick Thoughts of you surround my cells, Your voice haunts my soul, And heart asks for more. I slip away in a world unknown to me That I can close my eyes and make you walk through that door. Your presence where I need, am in that state indeed. Look what you have done to me And you tell me you don't know.
Even when I write this I hold the pen, I control my hand. And then I lose it all, This never happened before. It usually takes more than a look, More than a talk, and not mere touch to enter my heart, Walk that path and make my feelings to pour! Seems to me I have written some stuff Pure like my veins flow Yet may not mean enough To be a color in your rainbow!
So you can leave my hand and go apart. Or carry me like a fire in your heart.
