And God Created Man

At the zenith of creativity
When God created man
On this green, liveable planet
He had envisioned
All humans as one race
The landmass as one territory
And had also envisaged
Humanity as one faith

But man became far more innovative
In dividing and classifying races
Based on the colour of skin
In creating a caste system
On the ancestry and birth
In creating nationalities
On the territorial boundaries
And inventing the religion above all
Dividing God himself on faith and creed!
