My brother, my sister, daughter and sons,
They all came on and we had great fun,
With no count of time and plenty of joy all around,
Hearts filled to the brim and laughter going round and round.
All the nice things have to come to an end,
In nature, this rule had never any bend,
The day of parting arrived, as unmindful and ill-timed,
Not heeding the prayers, for the time to rewind.
Some who can withstand did stoically so,
And those can afford to cry, let go in gusto,
For some the tears had to dry with no scope to drain,
As they trained and trained, to restrain the tears of rain |
