Totally enchanted and enamoured
In a fateful span and stint of life,
I was passionate and eager to paint
A unique masterpiece on the canvas
With you occupying the centre-stage
In the backdrop of a blue-water lake
At a luxuriant and lush green valley
Up in the high hills of Himalayas…
But I turned out a novice and inept
In this art of the brush and paint
And remained so for the rest of life
When the harsh realization came,
The ambience that I had visualized
Was still within panorama and reach
But you were not around to muse on
And occupy the centre-stage on canvas.
