Poet's Fantasy

Come closer to me
till we are lost in each other
and celebrate our beautiful sin of intoxication.
Your bewitching beauty
coerces the petite lilies to nip their feelings in the bud.
Your kohl-adorned glistening eyes sparkling like twin stars
inject insanity in the indigo nights,
inducing the enchanted envious moon to sigh profoundly.

Sweat slips from my moist skin
seeping in the sand
to pursue the camel-ridden caravans
I will plant an oasis of poems in the sahara
and like desert roses, they will bloom, in abundance.
Even so the garden of my heart is still barren,
hence I can’t satiate my centuries-old thirst

When moonlight travels in her silvery convoy of stars
and syllables of verses smile and whisper sweet nothings
then earth-scented breeze carries the silken sand and
nymphomaniac night robs our dreams.
