Theme: Desire

Behind the Wall

Behind_the_Walls_by_frenchfox.jpg

I can see the wall
through the window
and the open sky
this whole lot is my territory
beyond this my far-sighted gaze
and the drenched eyes
could not see but imagine

Yet I’m not a prisoner
I don't belong here

The square comprises the two
halves, I experienced one, the
other half needs to be explored.

You and I together
With our timid wings, ready for flight,
can touch the sky and its limits
If only you promise.

Comment The window is the symbol of forming perspective, and vision of the world, staying behind the window is a kind of human limitation, and a confinement that doesn't matter what if the wings are timid,if the wealth of imagination is enough heated and fertile, as well as the company that is desirable...you can touch the ends of the sky...
The poem is deep, symbolic and quite readable...
thanks for sharing...
