She achieved an incredible feat At the fairly advanced age of sixty-four By crossing ‘The Straits of Florida’ From Havana to Florida, Key West. Skeptics by sheer temperament Would always find reasons To question or raise doubts On such a milestone achievement. Why can’t people simply take This feat at its face value To derive inspiration for all – That we should never ever give up And that we are never too old In life to chase our dreams?
