Kiss

Chief Guest at a dinner party
He was about to deliver
His speech as guest speaker
When prompt came a note
From his spouse sitting at
The other end of the table.

The guest sitting next to him
Was impressed with the 'KISS'
Scribbled on the piece of paper.
He smiled – You are the lucky one
Having so loving and caring wife
Sending a kiss to say good luck.

He blushed and coyly clarified -
You have absolutely no inkling
Of what my wife is really up to
It’s not what you have in mind
It’s actually her way of telling me:
Keep it short, Stupid!
