Unburdening!

They say when relations are
Held too tight they die
But if left loose they fly.
No control over situations
Difficult to take any decision.
Why this dilemma and confusion?

I have contemplated and meditated
So have willingly opted to set you free
From bondage so you can soar high
I’m unburdening you from burdens
So you have no obligations
Don’t worry I am not at all saddened.

Happy to see you fly high
No reason to stop you
As you wished to go, but why?
I am always there for you
Whenever you feel dejected
And lonely and would like
To have a shoulder to unburden
You do come without reluctance
Don’t worry, sure you needn't justify.

I loved the Middle Stanza...

though, I think it is impossible..
to set something dearer free..without a tinge of sadness.

happy to see you fly high....

are you really happy? or am I really happy?

never it can be.... but ...
it may be possible...

I love this poem for it's realistic expressions..

Wonderfully expressed !!! Really relations are if held too tight die away .But if left loose they happily fly on the wings of affinity and cordiality.Thanks for sharing such a nice poem dealing with relationships....:)

I can't put my finger to it, but this poem unco9nsciously reminded me of an old Mukesh song from the Manoj Kumar starrer 'Purab Paschim' - Koi jab tumharta hriday tod de, tadapat hua tumhe chod de...tab tum mere paas aana priye...
