In the ultimate sense, all sense-perceptions which are the means of communication and through which knowledge is derived, i.e. sight, audition, smell, touch and taste, are made of the same fabric of consciousness. Often it is difficult to tell them apart - particularly for imaginative poets. This is the message I am getting from this lovely poem. Well-done!
