Communication

The way we communicate
Tends to often indicate,
How well we can express;
How well we can impress.

Communication can make or mar;
It can dump us or take us very far.
No wonder, it is taught in business schools,
As it has its own set of modes and rules...

Communication could be formal or informal –
Could be through gestures, verbal or nonverbal.
Whichever mode of communication we choose,
We need to ensure that it is put to best use.

Dress, hair, facial expressions and postures,
Words, Voice volume, speech rate and gestures –
All greatly impact our communication skills,
As they could send out right or wrong signals.

Avoid ambiguous and distorted communication,
That leads to misunderstandings and confusion.
Formal or informal – written, oral or gestures,
It should offer no scope for any conjectures.

Good communication skills build relationships,
And are an imperative for lasting friendships.
They play a huge role in developing business,
In enhancing contacts and forging closeness.

Communication is a powerful tool
To become like one born to rule,
To seem always like a dude cool,
To not end up looking like a fool!

Communication skill helps to achieve all in flying colours if one articulate in putting forth matters to win heart, mind and soul of all! Whatever it is if one is well versed in general knowledge, common sense and presence of mind sure!
