Realization

Wasted precious time
In wiping out the dust
Accumulated on the mirror
Obviously, it was my error…

'Cause, instead of the mirror
If anything needed cleansing
It was the dust on my soul
The realization came later.

A very wise and philosophical poem with a great message. In my mother tongue Tamil there is a proverb : Just as the mirror shows any distortions of face, face is the index of the distortions of mind...Your poem, so full of wisdom Jaipalji, reminded me of this adage...Thanks for sharing.
