This is a Tapestry Poem by Shernaz Wadia & Nilouffer Rana
Fantasy - Shernaz
when moon dust brushes my lids
shimmery silver
the stillness aquiver
stars float down as glowing poems
dawn dips them in the palette
of the infant sun…now
each poem a vibrant butterfly
flits off to kiss a dew-speckled flower
I await another night of wool-gathering
Fantasy - Nilouffer
Gliding on a sunbeam over a rainbow,
On top of the world leaving the clouds behind me,
Diving down to vales of lush green gardens...
Life’s filled with simple happiness and innocence
Sipping from flowing springs, perching on swaying daisies,
Flitting here & there, chirping to the world
Singing wordless melodies, pouring music in lovers' souls,
My paradisiacal world the Earth and Sky…
But alas, the Sun’s rays awaken me to our nightmarish human world
Fantasy - Tapestry
When moon dust
brushes my lids shimmery silver
Life’s filled with simple happiness and innocence
Sipping from flowing springs, perching on swaying daisies,
I see stars float down as glowing poems
diving down to vales of lush green gardens;
Singing wordless melodies, pouring music in lovers’ souls
Dawn dips them in the palette of the infant sun
On top of the world, leaving the clouds behind me
I glide on a sunbeam over a rainbow;
Now, each poem a vibrant butterfly
Flitting here & there, chirping to the world
darts off to kiss a dew-speckled flower;
The stillness pulsating in
My paradisiacal world of Earth and Sky…
But alas, awakened by the sun's rays
to our nightmarish human world
I await another night of wool-gathering
