Our Friendly Take

At home
ever anxious
to prove our might,
Outside
we must be
sweet and polite
Though our
doormat stand
ridicule, may invite.
If at home
criticized
for sitting tight,
With
empty growls
we treat some slight.
And bending
backwards
choose to fight
BUT
a syrupy hand
even ants will bite...
