Like Leaves On A Tree

Like leaves on a tree,
Trees in a forest,
Forests in the world,
We all depend
On the same sun,
The same earth,
The same atmosphere
And the same creator
For our existence,
So despite the distance
Between you and me,
I'm linked to thee.

So profound, deep and true. We are ALL parts of the Tree of Life. Of itself, a leaf would wither and so would the branch that it is attached to. Being attached to the trunk, they receive their sustenance and nourishment from the earth. So with us. When we realized our Oneness with our Creator, we flourish by His Grace.
