A poem is the expression of something
encapsulated in a moment that
proves the whole of existence is its sibling,
one moment expanded into all that
makes a world; as the poem’s chosen words
begin and conclude when the meaning’s done,
the universe in process heads towards
the revealing moment in its conclusion
that has sustained it from the start, the first
stroke on nothingness retained in the present
as sure as all between up to the last,
like a poem, one truth to represent.
