We stood there on the balcony,
The rain so heavy,
The world glowed under its light,
Me: naked,
Your naked spirit beside me.
A soft shiver ran down your spine
And the fine hairs were plucked to attention
As my hand remembered
Running over your wondrous buttock
As it had done a thousand times.
We were alone again, together.
Tasting the simple joy of each other
And a world that was,
For a time,
Our own.
