Theme: Life

My Life is a Web

More often than not
When I make a blunder
I repent on what I did,
I say to myself angrily
That I’ll never repeat it
But go on repeating it...
I think my life is a web
Knit of my repentances
On the mistakes I repeat.

Comment It is called 'the fulfilling act' - the act we do - that reveals who we are to ourselves, more often than not a surprise! The strange fact is, because it is the 'fulfilling act' we do in any set of realised circumstances, it could not have been otherwise. We should not thus blame ourselves, but look upon our faults as manifestation of who we are. We wait for the day we will be manifested in a perfect light to ourselves - our greatest critics! The basis of faith is that God through grace will enable this, even as we experience moments of grace in our lives, because of ourselves we are incapable of perfection.
