Mom, you’re outstanding, giving love unbound,
Mom, your understanding, caring heart is profound,
Mom, let me wipe away your tears and sweat,
Mom, you’re truly the best award of my fate.
Mom, did my misbehavior hurt your soul?
Mom, I’m sorry, I’m a fool, and I lost all control,
Mom, I’m sure you’ll forgive my every mistake,
Mom, may I heal all your wounds and ache!
Mom, you’re my support system, my eternal teacher,
Mom, you’re the sweetest and world’s best creature,
Mom your sacrifices can never be counted,
Mom, so many battles you have surmounted!
Mom, did you hide a tear behind your smile?
Mom, I know concealing your pain is your style,
Mom, what can I do for you, to make you glad?
Mom, if you’re unhappy or upset, I too feel sad!
Mom, I still need your lap to cry my heart out,
Mom, you’re reflection of God, I have no doubt,
Mom, you remain awake all night to make me sleep,
Mom, like your love, nothing can be so deep!
Mom, when the world leaves me, you still stay,
Mom, for your happiness I will always pray,
Mom, I love you the most, just be what you are;
Mom, in the darkest sky you’re my brightest star! |
